EXECUTIVE ORDER – Recognition of the Annexation of Paleto and Citizenship of Paletian Residents

By the Authority vested in the Office of the Governor of the State of San Andreas:

Purpose

Following the lawful annexation of the Territory of Paleto into the State of San Andreas, uncertainty has arisen regarding the legal status of Paleto, its residents, and their rights under State law. This Executive Order is issued to affirm the State and ensure equal recognition of all citizens residing within its borders.

• The Territory of Paleto shall remain a recognized part of the State of San Andreas.
• No agency, department or public official shall recognize any declaration, or claim that seeks to separate Paleto from the State of San Andreas unless authorized through lawful legislative or constitutional process.
• All lands, infrastructure, and public property located within Paleto shall remain under the sovereignty, protection and legal jurisdiction of the State of San Andreas.

Citizenship

• Every lawful resident of Paleto shall be recognized as a citizen of the State of San Andreas.
• Paletian citizens shall enjoy the same rights, protections, privileges, and responsibilities afforded to every other citizen of San Andreas unless otherwise limited by law.
• No person shall be denied government services, licenses, employment opportunities, or legal protections solely on the basis of being a resident or native of Paleto.

Government Services

• All State agencies shall continue providing services within Paleto to the fullest extent practicable.
• Agencies shall recognize Paletian issued documentation where authorized by State law and shall treat residents of Paleto as citizens of San Andreas for all governmental purposes.

Enforcement

All executive departments, agencies, commissions, and employees of the State of San Andreas shall take all necessary actions to implement and comply with this Executive Order.
