baguettegirl is done with France being treated like a joke
ava starts more drama over a clown and snubs fu in power move
looks like the governor is back to trying to swing her dick around in a power hungry tantrum when fu went to her to challenge her about a tantrum on the phone with nicole. seems like she was mad the pd didnt drop everything for her 911 call when there were active hostage situations going on at the same time and blamed nicole for it.
she is already insufferable with power. and she said nicole was the power hungry one
Ava keeps Hank as CoP after 1 on 1 convo
The convo starts here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2810718325?t=4h36m36s and lasts a little under 30 minutes.
Hank basically says that he knew they were going to get destroyed in court but that he ignored his command's advice to settle because he wanted it to be a "learning experience". He said it would show his officers the importance of "crossing their t's ans dotting their i's" because they had messed up their handling of Baxter. Hank also mentioned how the person that made the mistake (Izzy) had been demoted and that overall they were redoing their FTO program. He said they were rewriting their training manual as their previous manual was written by Love and that it was lacking.
From her response, it seemed like Ava disliked Love and was happy to join Hank in throwing her under the bus. Hank described Baxter as someone that had been terrible at his job overall but was a legal wizard that knew all the nuances of the laws and used them to tear apart the department's actions.
As someone that wanted to see Hank removed from CoP, I think he came up with the best explanation/excuse for his actions and Ava ultimately decided to keep him as CoP. Ava also mentioned that she didn't know anyone that would be a good replacement for Hank as CoP. Hank said he thought that he was finally getting LSPD into a good place after removing all the "politicians" and "snakes" which basically seems to be anyone that disagreed with his leadership decisions.
The conversation didn't change my position, and I still think Hank should be removed from CoP, but I can kind of understand Ava's decision.
bcso claims ava is firing hank after seeing the complete shitshow lspd is in person last night
we will see if she actually does it though. do you think she will? who do you think she will put in his place? do you think there will be interviews
feels kind of like karma
BBNN BREAKING: BAXTER FIRED!!
So much for new cop!
(Inb4 "I'm not fired because I'm the server owner")
Nevermind Baxter is gonna get hired back. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the penta crashout.

Baxter haters in shambles
Veteran Lawyer Baxter incoming!
Here we go chat, the guy who's been a cop for five minutes defends himself in court like a veteran of several years! I wonder if he'll drop the Baxter voice this time, too?
How did forced transfers become a thing?
So it seems like Hank has decided to "force" transfer Nicole. The reasons are a bit convoluted but from what I've gathered he thinks she is insubordinate because she doesn't agree with his leadership decisions (which tbh seems pretty reasonable) and because she wanted to become higher ranked. There was also the Ava conversation about CoP picks which was mentioned in another thread. Based on a convo between Osvaldo and Hank it seems like it's a done deal.
Anyway, it seems a bit fucked that she's being forced to transfer. I have to be honest, I haven't seen her stream so I don't know her perspective on it. But until Chase came along, and really it's mainly a more recent development, I had never seen forced transfers in a PD. I had seen situations where people avoided being fired by changing departments but it seemed a bit more consensual.
I was honestly hoping she was going to be resistant to the idea. Then if she happened to get fired for not agreeing to the transfer I thought it would have been funny to see the Baxter Labor Law be put to the test. I don't like the forced transfers overall because it seems like a way to avoid conflict.
What do you all think of forced transfers?
TehJamJar likely leaving the server (at least temporarily)
After 10 days of not streaming TehJamJar logged in on his character Ronnie and spoke about how he isn't happy with the state of the server and it's direction. He is planning on not playing Ronnie for a while and he might see if he can find some good RP on Biggs and if unsuccessful he is going to play some RD RP.
He cited the continued issues with cars, mentioning that he was aware of changes that were supposed to have been made but weren't on the server. He mentioned his displeasure with stealing Kidneys in RP, comparing it to a forced sex act. He also mentioned that 5 weeks ago he had a ticket talking with admins about getting a building for his chop shop and the admins said they would have an answer for him that week but it still remains unanswered.
He was also displeased with Windsong's mass pardoning, saying that he felt it negated a lot of time and effort cops put into capturing and prosecuting people. He even went as far as to say that he thinks it was LQRP.
I think this is a very bad sign for Chase given how much time and effort JamJar put into the server and how much RP he created while on the server. His attitude today and what it was like 1.5 to 2 months ago are night and day. Back then he was developing a racing scene that had started to pick up a lot of steam and was one of the bright spots on the server. He was also doing it during a time slot that was one of the less active ones but his RP was breathing life into it.
He is one of the streamers I have enjoyed watching most on Chase and I personally hope he does find some RP worth doing on Biggs because I like watching JamJar but RD RP really isn't my thing. Unfortunately I don't think it's super likely given how dead the server has been during the hours he tends to play.
BAXTER FIRED
How long until penta bitches his way out of it. Guesses here
What would you like to see from the new sheriff and governor.

I wanted to make a fun post about some ideas I'd like to see now that the election is over. Just stuff I think would make for some entertaining RP moving forward.
First Ozwaldo (HogsHund). If you aren't familiar with him, he's one of the best people in the community when it comes to putting together events. From what i remember he put a ton of work into the recent Squid Games event on NoPixel, and he's also helped with things like the amusement park fairs and carnivals in early 4.0 He's always been someone who creates fun RP through creativity instead of relying on mechanics.
Seeing him win Sheriff was awesome. Out of all the BCSO candidates, he was easily the most interesting to me because I don't think he's just going to run the department like a copy of Wrangler. I think Sharpe would've been a great Sheriff too, but he was already running BCSO the way he wanted for the last month while Wrangler wasn't around. Because of that, I think this gives us something different.
I actually think Ozwaldo would've been a great Governor too but maybe he had his own reasons for wanting Sheriff instead.
So what do you guys want to see from BCSO now?
Do you want policing to change? New command or rank structures? More cooperation with LSPD? Or do you want the rivalry between the departments to get turned up?
Personally, I think now that Wrangler isn't Sheriff anymore, a BCSO vs LSPD rivalry wouldn't feel nearly as one sided. I think that could lead to some really fun conflict and storylines.
One thing I'd love to see is some kind of PD draft. Have the Sheriff and Chief draft officers onto their departments to mix up the rosters. Make a competitive game out of who runs the best show in town. Maybe they could even do trades or "steal" officers from each other. I think it'd be a fun way to shake things up because we've basically had the same departments and rosters for the last six months.
As for Governor, I'm optimistic about Ava, but I'm also curious how it will go.
I think Ava is funny and a good character and she seems genuinely excited for the role. She doesn't strike me as someone who's going to get pushed around and juat told what to do. It feels like she actually has a vision for what she wants to do.
My concern is that I hope she doesn't run into the same problems Windsong had where every idea gets buried under legal red tape or people doing everything theu can to waste her time and block everything she does. If that happens, I just hope she sticks with it instead of getting frustrated and saying screw it. Even if every idea doesn't work out, I think she'll still create some really interesting RP if she stays committed.
One thing I wanna see and I don't even know if it's possible would be Ava calling in Silas to be Chief of Police with Chalk as Assistant Chief.
Ava and Silas were really close, and without Wrangler around I think a Silas vs Ozwaldo rivalry could be incredible. I know Soupes probably isn't coming back, but if he ever did this feels like the perfect way to do it. Ava really liked Silas and he had a soft spot for her. Her callling him in to run the PD would make for some great RP and stir the pot big time.
Anyway, I mostly just wanted to start a discussion.
These are just goofy ideas i think would be cool.
What do you guys want to see from the new Sheriff and Governor? Any ideas you're hoping happen?
And if you think my ideas are dumb, tell me and share your opinions there is no wrong answers here. Just try to keep it a productive discussion rather then shit slinging. Thanks for reading.
fu and nicole come up with fun plan to get chalks name in avas ear but ava twists conversation and turns it into girl drama
on fus stream today he and danger approached nicole who was riding with chalk to see if she could talk to chalk about if he wanted to be chief again. she called fu back later and said chalk said he would consider it and to see what ava thought. nicole told fu she was afraid to bring it up to ava bc she will think it is a powergrab for herself but fu told her it would be fine and he spoke to ava already and she seems to want to have these conversations about things she should know.
ava then went to sharpe in a meeting and said nicole complained and tried to become chief. went back to gamers vod after fu and she brought up her concerns to ava and ava asked a bunch of questions that didn't really matter trying to pin the blame for ella onto her? then she asked who nicole wanted to see as chief and she said chalk. then ava asked who else and nicole said karl and then she asked who else and nicole said herself
since when does bringing up valid concerns equal to a power grab? this was a cool opportunity to see if she would consider chalk. nicole named two people to be chief. this was the second time she suggested chalk and karl. makes me wonder if fu was asked who he wanted to be chief and he said chalk and then karl and then himself if he would be accused of powergrabbing too. would have been cool if ava took away the chalk suggestion and didnt make it a catfight thing
Bloom or Hamm, who was the bigger snub?
Neither Bloom (Moosebrother) nor Hamm (Peachachoo) showed up to Wrangler's "retirement" party. Which of them not showing up is the bigger snub?
so what is Paleto supposed to be now?
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2808385764?t=0h30m15s
there was this awkward encounter between the new governor and wrangler (ava was meeting with the mayor of paleto) where penta thought it was ridiculous that paleto is still being treated as an annexed state. He also said it was dumb that people were arguing about what paleto is when he's god on the server and decided what it is.
that begs the question, what is paleto supposed to actually be now? he emphasized calling it a "prison colony" so what does that mean? is paleto only prisoners and guards now like a larger bolingbroke? is it still possible to make paleto characters? are paleto characters just considered lifers now? is anyone up to date on the lore?
Penta mentions "Long term plans" for Baxter
Do you remember how CG used to get upset about their arcs ending "not the way they wanted?"
I feel like Baxter is going to have the same results and the same type of crash out from Penta. He was just talking about "long term" plans he has for the character which seems to ignore the fact that he is already on the verge of being fired and would probably already be fired if he wasn't the server owner.
Unless Penta basically restricts LSPD from firing Baxter, which would be pretty lame, I don't see how he is going to last long enough to have "long term" plans. Basically every stream Baxter is doing corrupt shit and also being incompetent. I just don't see how that combination doesn't result in him being fired without OOC intervention.
