Once the largest gang on Chase, the Ballas are apparently dissolved. There has been a spin off gang formed that are basing themselves on Fudge Lane.

I'm not sure when Slim (Millz) last played on Chase but I saw him streaming on ONX a few times when I saw him in the list of streamers I follow. He is also planning on launching his own server. I wonder if he decided to just cut ties from Chase entirely and I wonder if it was fully voluntary or if there were any bans involved. I know he and many other Ballas have faced various punishments on the server.

I dont think they were a particularly good gang by any sort of metrics but they were very large for a while. I believe they had 40+ members at their peak. I'm not sure how many have since been banned / otherwise quit the server and how many are still playing. Maybe if someone knows the details they can share.

The Ballas and CHF were kind of "the" gangs on the server for the early days on Chase. Someone (Simba maybe?) commented that Rodney doesn't come around that often anymore. So out of the "top 2" gangs one is dissolved, the other has a leader for less active than they were. While the Vagos have risen with the new housing giving a little bit of life to things, the Southside gang scene has seen better days.

It's insane how anti-RP the server owner is. So far this stream has been:

Stand there and talk to chat. Try to bully someone in front of a cop while talking to chat. Hide in a bush and talk to chat. Drive up north and talk to chat. "Highway blast" (he hates that on wrangler) while talking to chat.

"Car balance is my number 1 priority". Not actually facilitating any RP...

It has been 95% talk to chat, 5% actual RP. RP God for this?

Gordo has had quite the day. He started it off with a situation with "Agent" Jackson (one of Sirexa's company handlers afaik, played by Dowsey) where he arrested him for made up offenses in the hospital and then proceeded to lie on the stand in the bench trial for those charges.

Sometime after that (I'm not sure when as I didn't see it) he apparently came across Jackson again who was accompanied by Jones (I think another "agent") and some doctor. Apparently he executed Jackson, who permaed. I'm not sure what happen with the others and if he shot at them and they escaped or what but he wanted to kill them but failed. He then called Sharpe and admitted to the shooting.

Gordo has been fired. Gordo had been involved in the Sirexa "origin storyline" but as I haven't been watching Sirexa or anyone really connected to that story I don't know what might have led to him snapping like this. If anyone knows more details or has some clips handy, please feel free to share.

One the most server defining features, Paleto, has since the Paleto war been neglected to a point that its a wasteland now.

Before the war it was in a great position, with naturally formed government and overall good RP, but now its been neutered with every patch, like unremovable trackers and Krok being cooked in south instead.

None of the ideas Penta had for it have actually been implemented. This hits harder in EU hours (I know he doesn't care.) as Paletians were a bigger chunk of the population previously.

This being the ChaseRP's flagship feature on launch seems dead in the water.

So apparently Ella had been taunting PD via birdie posts. I'm not sure how much was visible from the pictures that were included in her posts but her location ended up being figured out by someone that wasn't streaming.

I don't know anything about the cop (apparently her name is Nicole, idk the last name) who figured out where she was so I have no feelings either way as to whether I think it was legit or not. But I feel like whenever someone off stream makes a "discovery" like this, you have to wonder if it was legit or not.

Anyone watch this go down and have any thoughts on how much location information was available from the Birdie posts? Were there background objects visible in them that could give it away or was it only showing roof top textures and they happened to recognize it?

Seeing Eli back in an RP server for 1 hour shows me that its what Wrangler in 6 years wishes he could have been this whole time.

The server owner has been phoning it in for years and this was the best he could muster against a natural talent. Looking forward to the Eli streams.

Have there been any in the last two weeks?

It seems like there's a certain person no longer on the server and that may be the reason.

Server downbad to where Eli is coming back? The hell is happening...

This information is from what DukeLasers (Todd) said in MrMoon's chat. There was a Poker Tournament earlier tonight and I guess $30k was "on the table" from entry fees I assume. Anyway, a player named Bill (not sure if that's the character name or what the person is called, I don't really know any characters named Bill) "picked up" the Poker mat item which allows Poker to be played and when the mat was placed down again the $30k was gone.

Another example of a lack of foresight and/or QA from the best Dev Team on FiveM.

What a class act. A Justice steps down due to the hate she got and Penta is still ridiculing her.

The trends are wild. Going from Launch, to 1.0 to 2.0 in 6 months is a speed run to claim "things are getting better". The OVER promising is damning the server instead of saving it. Their viewership and quality playerbase (they can always FILL the server with wannabes) is plummeting.

Does 2.0 or "seasons" even matter on Chase? Or are these just Buzz words for hype?

What has any Season ? or MAJOR change happened with a Point Oh update? Seems like each of these have been just a few features at a time and from the tone of the sub. Mostly failed, bugged and minor.

How much has penta cut back on his Chase team? his Devs barely delivered an MAJOR 2.0 Update, his Admins can't keep up with tickets and his Trailer folks... well, he'll disown them soon so they are not "his"

Meanwhile, bots or no bots, penta barely scraping 4k during his first exposure to CHASE 2.0. Cash in your stonks now.

Edit: Lets not forget, Penta cant RP anywhere else. ChaseRP is his jail.

There has been a lot of examples of the Admin team basically banning people without ever contacting players. Examples of bans occurring DAYS after offences without tickets. Players deserve to know "can we trust admin".... Have you reported or been reported?
