Either his staff is much smaller than I (and probably many others) thought or those employees are not making a lot. I know FiveM devs make less than normal software developers but depending on the experience / market, that's like 1 maybe 2 software dev salaries.

Anyway, I wonder how many people are divvying up that 16k. They are probably paid as independent contractors as well, which if so, they have to cover their own payroll taxes, eating even more into the reported salaries.

I received a DM this morning with some very concerning but not surprising information. It seems that despite all of Penti's claims about the "good he does for people" of which he counts paying employees a good deed, he is not paying everyone that works for him.

The Dev has apparently been working on the server for quite some time and after providing free work for a period of time, they were offered a paid Dev position. Now, it isn't like they were getting paid and then as the server/Penti started to do worse financially the pat started to dry up. No, after signing the contract for paid work, they NEVER received a single payment.

Additionally, there was an editor that Penti contracted with approximately a year ago and despite performing work for Penti, they allegedly never received their contracted payment either. It was reported to me that the editor is looking into legal action.

I want to thank the person that brought this information to light. It's absolutely crazy that Penti tries to take any sort of moral high ground while not paying contracted workers.

If anyone happens to have additional information about people who Penti offered to pay and then stiffed them, please post here or feel free to DM me if you wish to stay anonymous. I am also willing to exclude / alter certain specifics if someone fears being identified and retaliated against.

This is not confirmed but I received a DM from someone informing me that Dirty Harry (zodiak032) has been banned from ChaseRP. I know there are some people here that have been critical of him but I've personally found him decently entertaining the times I've seen him cross paths with people I was watching. I have never watched his stream though.

The reason for the ban seems to be a bit unknown, but there was a claim that "Penta said to do it." Anyone happen to have confirmation on whether he was banned or not and what the reason for the ban was, assuming he was banned?

No new posts here, barely any new posts in the clip spamming subreddit. I guess the streams have just been shit this weekend?

I didn't watch and neither did my normal cliff notes guy. Who did he play? Anything particularly snark worthy? Any ridiculous shit worth checking out the vod for?

I decided to be a bit masochistic tonight and check out some of Penti's stream and holy shit was EMS Bob terrible. He started out by essentially forcing himself to be hired by the firefighters after EMS told him there was a hiring freeze.

Then he continued the look maxing stuff from a previous EMS Bob stream, which I actually thought was a bit funny, convincing people to let him perform plastic surgery on them.

At this point, I started doing other stuff and not paying much attention to the stream, but he somehow turned EMS Bob into someone that was trying to kill cops. He was fired from the firefighters and got upset because he got fired without being fired in person, and he had TJ add him back to the organization. Then, during one of the chases he had with cops he basically accused one of the cops using meta to find him, mocking the guys "long eyes" call outs.

I can't say with certainty because I wasn't watching closely but I also think he made use of the admin menu a bit as well to spawn himself sedatives. There were also several interactions with cops were they obviously treating him with "server owner treatment" and basically letting him get away/not instantly gunning him down like they would have done to anyone else.

This character honestly just seems to be a mix of Jordan Steele and Mike Block at this point. A lot of his "jokes" were just straight cringe as well, with lots of random yelling mixed in as well. I honestly don't know how anyone would have found this EMS Bob stream to be entertaining.

Prior to tonight I hadn't watched a Penti stream live for a while and all I can say is thank you to those that have been taking one for the team watching this garbage to provide summarys/links/clips for snark purposes.

*Edit: I wasn't watching at this point but apparently after EMS Bob he went on Baxter and had Sirexa make "olive garden comms" during a 78s call. Bloom confronted him and Poop on Todd Baxter and they both acted extremely insubordinate with Todd shit talking Bloom. Bloom suspended them and they refused to go off duty. Somehow Baxter ended up at Humane labs with Sirexa and Baxter tased and cuffed 2 cops that had come to get government equipment off Sirexa. I don't know how the rest played out but seems like Penti decided to go off the rails with all of his characters tonight.

False Reports: Reports do not get sent to "Reddit," they are viewable by mods. There is no value in false reporting, it won't get the person you are reporting in trouble and we will simply ignore the false report.

Moderation for New Contributors: If you are new to the subreddit, you will be on a much tighter leash than established contributors. If your first comment violates the rules you will be banned either temporarily or permanently depending on the severity of the infraction.

Non-constructive Posts: RPClips is built around discussion. You will not be banned or have your posts removed for merely disagreeing with the prevailing opinions on the subreddit. However, non-constructive posts will get you banned either temporarily or permanently.

Saying "stop watching xyz," "touch grass," and variations of these are non-constructive comments.

Toxicity: We allow some toxicity as long as it is part of an otherwise constructive post. If your comment is solely toxic then your post will be removed and you will be banned.

I don't have direct quotes as this information is second hand* but Penti's displayed subcount was around 10k but a little short yesterday. He did his normal "10k 10hr incentive" but he was losing in the battle of new gifted subs vs old subs falling off.

At one point he said something along the lines of "you only gift when I'm at 7k subs" despite never having 7k subs being displayed on his counter at any point yesterday. However, given the difference between the displayed subcount and the count shown on tracking websites, his real sub count was in the 7k range which would make his comment make sense.

He also discussed his fear of subcount fall off after his planned 22 day honeymoon vacation. Maybe it will be a dual honeymoon and retirement from relevancy vacation as his regular viewers will potentially find different streamers to watch or things to do in his absence. Chase will probably have an RP Renaissance without the server owner dictating the major storylines on the server.

Any predictions on where his subcount will be after his vacation? Will 22 days be enough time for his addicted oilers to find someone or something more worthy of their money?

In the 7th month of the server the PDs are once again revisting early server budget woes RP. LSPD is basically begging Baxter to not sue as it would result in the department being dissolved due to lack of funds. Meanwhile, crims are flush with cash and even if they do get caught, they rarely ever pay.

I don't have the budget numbers offhand but I wouldn't be surprised if Rights Violations lawsuits accounted for like 25% to 50% of the government's expenses in the past 2 months.

This server's systems, specifically anything related to the economy are so fucked.

Many crims rack up huge debts due to fines but face almost no repercussions aside from some extra jail time. In many cases, they have 0 intention to ever pay it down because there isn't much of an upside to doing so and the extra jail time isn't really a painful downside.

I didn't think an RP server could have an economy worst than early ONX but it looks like Penti is doing his best to take the crown for the worst economy.

I don't know how everything went down as I started watching mid bust, but this guy got caught with many multiples of the drug trafficking amount of drugs for every type of drugs i.e 10x weed, 4x Kroc, 4x Pills, 2x seeds, fent (which isn't even in law yet), 19 guns, explosives, components to make more Kroc etc.

Due to the automatic please deals, the most he can get sentenced to is 5 years and 500k.​ This limits are in place while Penti has won millions of dollars in rights violations law suits (and others have won significant amounts as well).

I guess this is another situation of "who cares about balancing the economy," let the government face constant budget shortage RP due to massive lawsuit payouts while criminals only face slaps on the wrist.

The guy laughed at the fine as being meaningless. I don't know of its because he has no intention of paying it off or since he had millions of dollars of drugs on him, getting that amount of money would be laughably easy to attain.

At some point in his stream last night Penti apparently made this comment. There seems to be a flaw with this statement though, if Chase is such a great server, why have so many people left the server?

I think there might be some survivorship bias in this feedback, assuming the feedback is real to begin with. I wonder if Penti has thought to reach out to the people that put in many hours on the server at its launch but have either quit entirely or have cut their playtime down dramatically.

Early on in the server's life, a lot of the RP was being driven by the PDM & Snake Pit crew as well as the Southside gangs CHF and Ballas. Across all those groups were well over 100 roleplayers that have either left Chase entirely or barely play it. While CHF and the Ballas weren't providing exactly top tier RP, PDM and the Snake Pit crew had some great RPers.

Why have so many RPers left Chase when it is the best RP server!?!

The union members would benefit from collective bargaining for wages and legal representation for internal investigations and lawsuits regardless of who is leading the BCSO. However, Penti is ready to scrap the arc entirely due to Osvaldo stepping down. I think his willingness to instantly abandon the arc demonstrates that it was never about providing benefits to the rank and file officers and deputies but was solely a vehicle to generate conflict with Osvaldo.

I recall when housing was first being released it was mentioned that non-primary houses would have larger tax rates to discourage people from hoarding properties as its a pretty common issue on RP servers for there to be housing shortages.

Anyway, I heard that Penti is doing some landlord RP on Wrangler and it made me wonder about the non-primary home increased tax rates were in place. I would have imagined that being a landlord would have a) not really be feasible due to the tax rate and b) generally discouraged so more people could own hones.

So does anyone know what that tax rates are like? I know taxes on even primary homes seemed pretty high (unless they were reduced at some point) so it seemed like renting homes and covering even higher taxes wouldn't really be feasible without outrageous rental prices that would be so high that people would be better off saving to buy their own home.​

What do you all think will be the results of the Rumble deal? Will Penti's viewers/oilers ignore the deal and continue watching and donating as they had previously? There were many that commented against it and said that surely after learning about the platform he wouldn't take the deal and how much they despised the platform. Will they simply grit their teeth and justify the decision in their minds and continue watching and subbing?

Will there be any implications for the server? Will some players avoid and/or quit the server due to the owner's association with Rumble?

So I guess the topic of oilers that have come and gone came up and a person named like LizardKing or something similar was brought up. Apparently the guy had given 5k subs to Penti but Penti had no memory of them.

I guess it just goes to show that despite how thankful Penti appears when receiving gift subs, he really doesn't give a damn about his oilers once they stop gifting. Even giving $20k+ worth of subs isn't worth a spot in his memory, It's all about "what have you done for me lately."

If he can't even remember someone that gave him over 20k, he surely doesn't really give a fuck about the people giving the occasional 5-20 gifted despite how thankful he might try to sound when reading their names.

Since Chase loves rerun arcs, it looks like Government budget problems are back on the table. Courtesy of Penta characters taking millions of dollars out of the budget and others suing the police for huge settlements.

Cop salaries cut from $1k+ an hour with some getting $2k to a max salary of $500 per hour.

Government workers about to be poor again while crims have so much money they don't even care to do crime because they have so much money.

Bonus points for the war causing morale issues and cops not showing up for duty.

After being forced to send prisoners to Paleto, Paleto is now releasing San Andreas prisoners. Not only are they just letting them out, they are reducing their times to 1 month so that jail break warnings aren't being sent to PD. Pretty great RP.

Bloom found out about it and got annoyed and is now planning on manually putting prisoners into Boilingbrook. Since the MLO was removed, he is just planning on putting them in the yard.

The RP led by Penti on Jordan has been so contrived and poorly thought out that we now find things at this point.

When Penti wonders why people aren't having fun with this arc, maybe this will help him understand. They are able to come to Los Santos, attack people and if they happen to be caught they are back on their way to attack again before the police have even had the time to repair their car.

Absolutely riveting role play. It's an absolute shock that PD numbers are low when they have the opportunity to take part in RP high stakes roleplay defending their country from terrorists!
