Golem Foundry - looking for an unusual deck!

Hey All,

I discovered this card -golem foundry - and i love the idea of making a deck with it in pauper!

I was thinking a deck that let me play/draw ton of cards ad drop a lot of artefacts and generate ton of golems (maybe affinity mechanic?).

Any of you has any suggestion? I saw Tron Altar, but i don’t like the combo idea (in general).

Thanks a lot!

Real or fake?

I bought these 2 mental note. As you can see the name/instant/designer name are a bit faded.

I took pics of the back.

What do you think? Maybe is because is an old card?

Mono Blue Terror Pauper - Looking for feedback and suggestions!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been tuning my Mono Blue Terror list lately and I wanted to share it with the community to get some thoughts, feedback, and potential card suggestions. It’s been performing okay, but I feel like it could be optimized a bit more.

Here is my current list:

Creature Spells (8)
4x Tolarian Terror
4x Cryptic Serpent

Instants & Sorceries (33)
4x Counterspell
3x Spell Pierce
3x Boomerang
3x Deem Inferior
4x Brainstorm
4x Preordain
4x Consider
4x Thought Scour
2x Ponder
2x Deep Analysis

Lands & Cyclers (19)
4x Lórien Revealed
15x Island

Sideboard: 3x blue elemental blast, 3x tormod’s crypt, 3x annul, 3x fade away, 3x echoing truth

Please focus on the main deck rather than sideboard :)

Key Deck Building Choices & Reasoning:

The 8-Threat Shell (No Delver / No Mystic): I decided to cut Delver of Secrets entirely. It's a terrible top-deck in the late game and forces you into a "Tempo" game plan that gets easily dismantled by current removal. Murmuring Mystic was also cut for being too slow at 4 mana. Relying strictly on 4x Terror and 4x Serpent keeps the deck incredibly resilient and explosive once the graveyard is full.

Why no Snap? I explicitly avoided Snap. In my testing, it felt sub-optimal because when an opponent taps out to cast a major threat, bouncing it and untapping my lands on their end step provides almost zero value.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!

Looking for Pauper MTG players in Amsterdam

Hi everyone

I live in Amsterdam and I'm a big fan of Magic: The Gathering, specifically the Pauper format.

I’m looking to connect with local players and understand if there is a community for it here. I heard there is a bar running events/tournaments every 2 weeks, but I was wondering if someone else also organizes events, maybe via WhatsApp groups or Discord?

If you know any good spots, active groups, or if you're just looking for someone to play some games with, feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.

Cheers :)
