This is a drop-in event with no pre-sold tickets, open to all ages.

Thursday BioBlitz at the Montshire!

If you're looking for a great day out, that also contributes to citizen science and feels a lot like Pokémon GO, a BioBlitz is for you, and there's one happening on Thursday (probably the day you are reading this) July 9th at the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich.

The Blitz kicks off at 10:30am and you can join in by taking pictures of what you see around the museum grounds and adding them to iNaturalist.org. There will be lots of folks on site (some Montshire, some Appalachian Mountain Club) to help you get started - we can't wait to see what you find out there!

Stop trying to make PokèMontshire happen. It's happening on Thursday!

Mixer at the Montshire, this Thursday, May 28th

We just finished testing adding colored mica powder to slime and my hands are shimmery! Making slime is one of the activities at Thursday's Montshire After Dark Mixer, along with a scavenger hunt, dinosaur building, a classic After Dark raffle, and dinner and drinks from Brownsville Butcher & Pantry. Make slime. Make dinosaurs. Make friends.
