Bagworm (eastern Melbourne)

There was a bagworm house on my lawn that I had assumed was empty, but it turns out they are alive and kicking.

Does anyone have a guess at the species?

Crabbing and prawning in the colder months

I'm heading to the Port Stephens area next month to do some fishing and camping, and have heard that the prawns and crabs really shut down over winter to the point it's not worth chasing them. Is this the case, or is it worth working that into the schedule?

Space on the boat is at a premium so if it's not worth the effort then we won't bring the nets and traps
