This is the cutest and the most interesting Ranma 1/2 cosplay performance!!

It is true we haven't seen MANY cosplay performance videos for Ranma 1/2 but this one is still the one that stands out the most!

I mean, of course not everything is perfect but I cannot stop watching it. The efforts, the amount of energy put into it and the nostalgia that comes with it!!

I think with the remake releasing, this one also deserves appreciation all over again!!!

Such a beautifully executed performance!

I genuinely don't understand how anyone can say male Ranma isn't canonically good looking.😭

I’ve come across a few discussions recently where people argue that male Ranma isn't actually handsome, or that his appeal is only because of his martial arts strength and athletic build.

I mean he IS all that but he is CANONICALLY handsome. I get that other characters look much more appealing to YOU but that doesn't mean Ranma is just BASICALLY ugly 😭 We all have our favourites.

Put aside the old anime, the power levels, and how strong he is—just look at him in the manga. He is fine as hell. I don't know how anyone can look at his face and think he's just "average" or plain.

If you want actual, logical proof from the manga that goes beyond just character bias, look at these facts:

The Genetic Proof: When his mother, Nodoka, is introduced later in the manga, it’s made explicitly clear that Ranma looks just like her. Nodoka is canonically a top-tier, elegant traditional beauty. Since Ranma inherited her exact facial structure, his male form naturally carries those same highly attractive, refined aesthetics.

The Nabiki Business Test: Nabiki is the ultimate, cold-hearted capitalist of the series who only cares about market value. She makes a massive profit selling photos of Ranma's female form to the student body (and Kuno). But remember: the Jusenkyo curse doesn't build a new face from scratch—it just switches the biological sex while preserving his baseline features. Takahashi draws both forms with the exact same premium bone structure and striking eyes. If his genetic features are attractive enough to create a school-wide black market when flipped to female, his male form inherently possesses those exact same high-tier aesthetics.

The Clean-Up Effect: Whenever Ranma is forced to drop his angry fighting stance and get cleaned up (like during specific school events or formal arcs), background characters immediately comment on how remarkably handsome he is.

His chaotic, loud, and arrogant personality completely masks his looks 90% of the time. He's always scowling, fighting for his life, or getting blasted through a wall, which doesn't give him time to just sit there and look pretty. But purely on a physical level, independent of his strength, he is a genuinely great-looking guy.

Am I crazy, or do some people just completely blind themselves to how handsome he actually is because of his chaotic life? What do you guys think?

Male Ranma is not that good looking? 😭

I wonder why Ranma never tells Akane about P-Chan?

We all know Ranma can be incredibly possessive and jealous when it comes to Akane. It always cracks me up how he loses his mind over other guys, yet he somehow tolerates his rival turning into a pig and sleeping in her bed.

I mean we saw how he gets overly jealous even for a minor approach to Akane, but he just let's Ryoga slide?

I know he tried to tell her early on, but Akane just thought he was being mean and trying to slander her pet.

But since it clearly bothers him so much, it surprises me that he doesn't just splash some water on P-chan right in front of her to clear things up once and for all.

Is it purely because of his martial arts honor code with Ryoga? Or is he just worried that his communication skills are so bad that Akane will somehow blame him anyway and it'll backfire? What do you guys think holds him back the most?

(PS: Ryoga is one of my favourite characters so don't think this is an attempt to attack any of them. Keep it fun and friendly please.)

Curious about the "Akane is a Bi-con" theory... I don't really see it? 🥲

Hey everyone! Please keep this chill, I’m just genuinely curious about a fan theory I saw online.

I’ve noticed some people calling Akane a "bi-con" (bisexual icon) because she loves Ranma in both forms. Personally, I don't agree that she's bi. To me, Akane has only ever shown attraction to guys (like her initial crush on Dr. Tofu). Her staying with Ranma when he turns into a girl feels less like sexual fluidity and more just her dealing with his chaotic magical curse because she loves him.

I know shipping and character interpretations can get wild, but for those who do view her as bi, what's your reasoning? Am I missing something from the manga/anime, or is it just a fun fan interpretation?

My boy already admits that he LIKES 'someone else' 😭🥀

I mean it's just a fun and dumb post lol but HEY, Look at thatttttt

Spoilers!

In the actual japanese lines he says, "Gomen, Ore Sukina Ko Ga Irunda" which basically translates to "Sorry, there is someone else I like."

It may not even be a big 'thing' for you but I was practically punching my pillow 🥀😭😭

After all, it was the first time he admitted that he likes 'someone else' (we know who that is ofc) out loud 😭 (it's not a dramatic, emotional realisation and he doesn't even specify 'who' but let a lady stay happy 😭)

Lol

Favourite episode by the way.

Do you think Ranma 1/2 Remake will actually reach its full ending?

The trailer of Season 3 looks extremely promising! But just like a lot of people in the fandom, I am very concerned about the pacing.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to watch this anime go on for years. However, there is always that little worry that things could go south. At the current pace the anime is covering the manga chapters, it would likely take at least 8 seasons to reach the conclusion. That puts us around 2034 or so.

I'm so worried it might get cancelled before finishing (I know it probably won't, but it wouldn't be the first time a pre-signed Netflix collaboration got axed.)

It's not that the series isn't doing well, it's just that so many series have been left incomplete in the past, so please excuse my overthinking! 😭

PS: I am still incredibly excited for season 3!!!!!!! The animation has me swooning and I'm all in for Ranma x Akane!

What do you guys think about the pacing?
