Delicious, it’s basically a twice cooked pork recipe but I use the thin sliced frozen hot pot pork, it’s in regular rotation for me, high volume meal too with all the cabbage.

Mince beef (ground beef for those across the pond) with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and ginger atop rice, steamed eggs and silken tofu with lil hint of chilli oil

Day in the life - period films
I recently watched The Devils Bath, set in a small village in Austria in the mid 1700’s it showed scenes of daily chores, wedding celebrations and general community experiences (mixed with a tragic folk horror tale). I find these small details super fascinating and would love to find more films that show realistic-ish depictions of small village daily life anywhere from the Middle Ages up until around 1800.
