Made a quick edit of Charlie Cox as Daredevil with a fully red suit:
Welp, this post isn't gonna make much sense now that the original's been deleted, but it took a while to find jean shorts. My edc for today or whatever
Kizer T1 BD and distressed jorts.
How it started vs how it's going:
I recently found this picture of a lightsaber toy I had as a kid and it unlocked a trove of memories, haha. The foam blade part always kind of sucked, but I remember being absolutely fascinated by the Qui-Gon hilt itself, which could be clipped to the belt and worn around. Unlike every other toy saber I had seen at the time, it was actually slim in the hand instead of bulky, and fairly closely resembled the prop hilts on screen. I loved that thing. Decades later, as an adult, I have my dream version: a proffie saber with wonderful sound and a bright neopixel blade that can still be removed if you want to wear the saber around on a belt, just like the one I had as kid. And the hilt itself is a OneReplicas SSQY, install done by scrap_that_works. Gets very close to the details of the real Qui-Gon saber prop, but ever-so-slightly slimmed down to make it even more sleek and comfortable in hand. Couldn't be happier with it!
Edit: Shout out to No_Cicada_4582 for informing me that this specific toy model was actually used as an on-screen prop in Attack of the Clones, as some of the youngling sabers in the scene when Yoda is instructing them. Crazy!
I like the overall design of the Ruthye sword prop for the Supergirl movie, I just wish it wasn't so short and stumpy-looking. I made this quick edit to show what I mean.
A closer look at the SRM Terrier. I know that crossbar lock folders are old hat now but this one's impressed me.
Got this SRM 258L "Terrier" this week and I'm liking it a lot so far. It's about the size and price of a Kershaw Iridium but has this impressive laminated 140cr blade and grippy micarta scales. The liners/frame are folded out of one piece of steel that also functions as a stop pin, very sturdy feel with minimal hardware. Pretty nice for 65 bucks.
