I read about stories of short cervix and IC, and I asked the sonographer at the 20 week scan whether my cervix would be measured and she said it's not done as routine.

I've heard it's common in US but not in UK? Surely a check would be ideal to prevent a lot of losses, if something could have been done about it, e.g. cervical stitch.

I'm 22 weeks currently and makes me worried!
