Living in Fiesole
Hello!
I am moving to Fiesole (from a nordic country) and will be living there for 4 years for study. I would like to hear your personal perspective of the living experience, like about safety, transportation, food, people, everything!
I ask this because I keep hearing that Florence has been becoming overcrowded and over-touristed, making the safety and life quality way down these years. Even saw comments saying that they are robbed regularly.
I truly love Italien culture, and especially Florence, its history (though also people are complaining about its disneylandification). But these inputs really make me worried. I know Fiesole is a town near Florence, but still it’s only 6km or so from central. So I want to hear your experience and if any advice on living there.
