I spent the night in my campervan along the south coast. I’ve hardly spent any time in it this summer, it’s been too hot and I’ve been too depressed.

It’s just gone 5am and I have been woken up by a wet patch on the sheets… I was very confused…

IT’S RAINING!!!

I left the hatch above my bed wide open and it’s dripped onto my bedding. I’ve never been happier about this! It’s really proper rain and the weather radar on Windy shows it’s gonna keep raining! REJOICE!

Nothing better than the sound of rain on the roof of the van. Great timing. Things are finally looking up.

And yeah I left my washing out at home. Also totally OK with that. Finally the garden gets rained on.

My grandfather was a pedophile, convicted. My family knew. He sexually abused me and my cousins. Nobody helped me. My cousins got help and have a normal life.

It all came out in 2018. It destroyed my life and I’m
still suffering.

My family treat me like I’m the one who was the pedophile. Blocking me, not responding to my distress, etc.

The way my family have treated me, has been more traumatic than the original abuse.
