Hi. I am looking for advice on the appropriateness of a small gift to my professor, please?? Irish literature has come up repeatedly in class. There is one book I have read that he hasn’t, which surprised us both. I happen to have a second copy of said book. I am wondering if it would be ok to send it to him once grades post. It’s worth less than 10 quid, so it’s truly a gift of nominal value. I would send it with a wee thank you note. What say you?? Some universities allow nominal gifts and some prohibit them. I cannot find a clear ban in either the staff or the student handbooks, so I’m asking here to see if anyone knows or has done something similar. What say you??

Hello. I am looking to combine dyed blue roses and blue cornflowers, aka bachelor’s button, in a bouquet for my graduation with my master’s degree. What would you suggest to accompany those two flowers and what suggestions do you have for the best way to arrange them, please?? Any other advice you want to impart, please?? I know they sent an email out that some students are having trouble accessing some of the UCD IT stuff. I wasn’t having issues at the time, but I am now. I have the most important presentation of my entire life in about 14 hours in New York and it is all on the google drive. I can’t go to the IT office or student help desk and I am trying hard not to panic. Any advice, tips, reassurance, help, anything, please??
