(in 4th year now)
a few weeks ago i started putting a little extra effort into my health. trying to eat cleaner and increase my protein intake. living in a hostel, i quickly ran into same problem that so many of us face every single day:
mess food has zero nutritional transparency.
calculating protein and calories from a random thali is pure guesswork and even if i want to cook something in my room with just a kettle, i have no idea what i can actually make with random ingredients sitting on my desk
so i built a simple android app to fix exactly this
BSDK (bhook se dara kro) app --not what you think--
it lets you:
● scan your mess plate and get a rough idea of protein, carbs, fats and calories
● tell it what ingredients you have and what appliance you can use (kettle / microwave / induction) and it suggests what you can cook
● track your macros without the usual hostel chaos
● u can order on Zepto one click from app
not startup launch or something for money
it’s just an open source project i made cz i needed it… and i know a lot of you too
if you’re also trying to stay consistent with protein while living in a hostel, give it a try and tell me what you think.
download it, use it, roast it, improve it i’m all ears.
