LOVE my new Vibe! (After a return of Speedy mens damoflage)

Last weekend I got the Speedy 30 in Black Damoflage from the men’s LV store - I am not a man, but I LOVE that damoflage pattern and many of the “men’s” bags lately. After getting it home and trying it on again, I felt like it was a little too big and looked like a travel duffel on me, especially worn crossbody. I’d love to have one someday, but was looking for something more everyday/versatile at the moment (same goes for the mens Keepall 25 B in those colors - love those but too small for me for daily use). I thought it was the same size as my classic (vintage) Speedy 30, but it’s actually bigger.

Anyway, I sadly returned it today and was almost going to head home, but I’d been looking at some of the soft Speedy options in the women’s lineup and was a bit intrigued by the Soft Speedy 30 in Vibe. But from pics/videos I was worried the leather would be too delicate/thin, I want a bag I don’t have to baby all the time.

I totally fell in love with it in person! The leather is substantial and feels quite thick, though it’s not a heavy bag. I love that I can hand carry or use the shoulder strap - or even crossbody if I use the silver chain as an extender. I had been planning to wait and see if something new caught my eye in future, but couldn’t leave this at the store! I also love that I could dress it up, but also can see myself wearing it with my usual scrubby weekend outfits of a band tee, shorts and birks. It’s an early 50th birthday gift to myself 😃 Terrible modeling pics but hopefully you get the idea.

Triumph Speed 400

Been reading this sub for a while, figured I’d post me and my bike! I had a 2012 BMW G650GS previously (and a couple others before that, started on a Rebel 250 and moved to a Shadow 600 before realizing I’m not into cruisers) but swapped it last year for this 2025 Speed 400 and love it. I took off riding for over a decade so feel like I’m relearning, but took the free state course as a refresher which was super helpful.

For reference, I’m 5’4” with a 30” inseam. The bike was slightly tall for me to start with, I could do toes down. I got a lower seat (Sahara Seats) and had a lowering kit put on and now it’s great, I can get a good portion of my feet down (in flat/no heeled shoes so that could always help too).
