First Playthrough - Feel stucked
Hello,
I started my first Playthrough on Bellwright and i feel stucked.
I like to learn by myself, i made few mistakes but overall i am doing good.
I don't know if this is important or not, but i am playing with Highest Frequency Raid with Impossible Raid Strengh. I got few mods (Decoration, X2 Storage on Buildings, NPC speeds, Node Respawn (8 days) and i lastly added a Renown Reduction Cost for new villagers) and needs for village are at 200%. The rest is untouch.
At the beggining it was ok, few mistakes :
- (Depleted 3 Copper and Tin Veins before adding mod (Had to make new Mining Outpost) because i was crafting Bronze to resell to Villages (Didn't knew there was so low ores on those veins).
- Not using priorities properly
- Not trading properly
- Villages management (and so properity) not going well
- ect.
But i manage to figure it out and now it is ok.
I finally built a nice T2 Village/City (In Oakridge) and liberrated the 5 first villages (Haerdean, Padstow, Bradford, Farnworth and BlackridgePool). And here is the problem, i don't think i am ready to fight the reclamation party of Horndean.
For BlackridgePool there were 38 soldiers to defend the village against (Far more compared to Farnworth). The fight was not easy.
The problem is the Renown Cost to hire more Villagers. I need almost 10K for a decent/good Villager, and i don't know how to farm so much Renown.
I have cleared all bandits camps on the map (but even with a High Migration), bandits take days to rebuild their camp, and 1/2 of the time, it is a small green camp with low value bandits.
I download a mod that's reduce renown cost, it helped (a lot of renown back), but it disappeared as fast as the download of the mod).
I tried to see if the Milicia from villages could help me, but they are not well equipped yet (hopping milicia from high prosperity villages will be stronger, but would take many IG days to reach a decent prosperity amount (Villages are arround 5 to 15K).
Since i finished T2, i was looking to build a new Village/City with T3 upgrades to have better Equipment to make the difference. I found a place that i like (Near Hordean) but T3 buildings needs an insane amount of ressources and i need tons of villagers to carry all the materials for the new city. But if i block 10 villagers going back and forth (to carry planks, nails and all the material), i take the risk to lose a reclamation fight (Even if i don't need caravans to keep high prosperity, thanks to the market).
So (Yeah, sorry, the post is quite long for just a small question), do i have to manually take a lots of villagers, put Materials in their inventory, use a boat to TP to my future T3 City and come back with boat to setup safely my new Village ? It will be a little boring, but since i cleared all bandits camp, and finished all the quests (Except the one with the prison (i get rekt)) i don't see what i can do.
Or should i try to increase the prosperity of the 5 villages to 15K-30K+, make a lot's of Milicia building, setup a small military camp near the bandit's headquarters and camp with all milicia in front of the Headquarters while my own Villagers make travels to bring all the materials for the T3 City and produce goods to keep prosperity/gold stable ?
Or last idea, recrute Mid Quality villagers, train them as much as possible, and release them to earn a little of renown each time (Was so happy when i discovered this feature), combined with defense against reclamation party and clearing bandits of Crasmere/Hordean + New Camp to farm Renown.
I am quite in doubt by which idea is the less "Pain in the ***"
Edit : Thanks for reply (Forgot to put a small "Thanks in advance" in my initial post).
