How do you guys make 70s, 80, and 90s mixes sound good?

Been mostly practicing with dance mixes due to Jak Bradley’s classes. I’m only about halfway through and wanted to play around with some other songs but it just sounds off to me. Any tips?

Can anyone recommend a good usb c cable for DDJFLX4?

The cable it came with does not work. Is it 3.0? Can anyone recommend a good one on Amazon or something

Trying to connect my DDJ-FLX4 to Rekordbox

I keep getting a audio error don’t know what’s going on. The audio is the DDJ and nothing else is showing on the input output, so what am I doing wrong…

Also does rekordbox run slow or is it just my 3 year old laptop

Hey all, I have some knowledge of abelton and play guitar, drums, synth/keyboard a bit. I know dj is a little different.

Wanting to do kind of a side business venture and for fun obviously, maybe do some bars/parties down the line.

What do I need to get started besides a controller?

Budget is about $500

Where do you guys get your music from?? Like actually licensed music/songs.. I have a bunch of vinyl that I collect but not really want to use those.

Any videos that you recommend, or pointers for starting out? Thanks!
