Pear tree problems

I moved an old collapsed pear tree in January and was amazed that by early March it was in leaf and flowering, but this felt very early. A few low temperature nights caused what looks like cold damage to all that early growth, and now it just looks dead.

Anyone got any experience with this? Is it stress, and do you think it will come back next year?

Thanks

Children of Men: Opinions

I saw this movie at the cinema with very little knowledge about its plot. It remains one of the best cinema experiences of my life. The single takes, the pacing, the performances, what an absolutely superb film. Interested in other peoples opinions.
