When did they say or market that there would be complete character creation?

Since the game has been announced I have been following the game and have never heard them say that there is complete character creation in the game. Yes, many of the people working on it were involved with Mass Effect and those games had the character creation but I have never been under the impression that this game would have it. Off course, I don't want to imply that I have heard of read every thing coming from the developers but I just don't get the backlash.

I genuinely would like to know because I did not even expect it to be "the new Mass Effect" which is another thing people keep bringing up because, again, the developers have worked on Mass Effect as well. For me it looks like the Mass Effect fans, in their enthousiasm, marketed this game to be the next Mass Effect, not the developers.

The game seems exciting to me because it is a story driven science fiction RPG with, hopefully, cool time dilation game mechanics and an amazing story. It can still be that even without a character creation in it right?

With my question I really do not want to push any ones buttons, but I think the game can still be an awesome game. And if not, then we will go to the next best thing. The amount of hate in this sub is just making me a bit sad I guess.

Can anybody tell me more about this tea brick?

My mother in law brought it back from her trip to China. So I thought, here are a lot of knowledgeable tea enthusiasts maybe somebody can tell me more about it! I already know it is Anhua Dark Tea but haven't looked up more about it yet. Maybe someone knows what is written on the packaging or have brewing suggestions.

I'd like to hear what you all have got to say about it!

Halfway through Jade War and have some thoughts

Hello everyone,

Firstly, spoilers incoming!

Currently, I am halfway through Jade War by Fonda Lee and though I appreciate the world she created I think I miss a bit of morality in the story.

>!Of course, the characters are gangsters through and through but even when, for example, Hilo killed the ex-wife of his diseased brother just to kidnap the son of said ex-wife. (Which was a great scene, dramatically speaking.) Clearly going against their own code there is not a lot of conflict about it in the family. Shae knows it, and thinks negatively about it for a second, but afterwards just leaves it behind as if it did not happen. !<

And there are more of these kinds of things that happen which could have provided great tension, drama and moral discussions between the main characters. But it always fades into the past. Will this trend continue into the third book? And what do you think about this aspect of the books?
