Been here so many times since they switched from The Other Door in 2021, been traveling the past few months - came back to town this week, and went there last night….WOOF. Used to love it here but alas…
A Saturday night, there’s maybe 7 people there. 10:30pm arrival…with multiple friends not just myself and my partner.
Bartender looks barely 21, serves me and my friends, has no problem with our friends - gives myself and my girlfriend (28yo - both of us) a rude attitude…I continue on with my beer. I go to pay for those beers and ask for my ID back - bartender took it so I could get pool balls - and he then says I can’t pay for my drinks and he’s kicking me out because I have a fake ID?
I provide a second form of ID, as does my partner, he then asks if she has her birth certificate (she’s black) and that was just the final straw…. Left with a bad taste in our mouth, but still not over it….
Feeling like going back tonight with every form of ID I own and telling them that was just delusional behavior from their staff last night and if they’re not going to have security, and clearly have an issue of underage drinkers….- then get a mothereffing scanner
