Vote for Pratt!!
Hi guys, I’m just wondering why anyone would be against Spencer pratts campaign. LA is completely ruined right now, very dirty, very unsafe because of our amazing mayor Bass!! Pratt literally will save our city and especially our neighborhood noho. All the homelessness and the sketchy streets all the vacant properties due to homelessness and low demand. Don’t get me started with all the crime, you can’t walk outside after 9 pm. Pratt can revive our neighborhood, and our city. Vote for better, vote Pratt.

Noho summer art mentorship for teens
Hi friends! This summer I'm offering one-on-one portfolio mentorship for teens (14+) in the Burbank/Noho area, and I wanted to share it here first with people in my community.
If your kid has been drawing, sketching, or designing and wants to take it somewhere, design school, concept art, animation, entertainment. I'd love to work with them. I've spent years in the industry with credits at Lucasfilm and Powerhouse Animation, and I'm passionate about helping young artists build a portfolio that actually reflects who they are, not just what looks "right."

North Hollywood Room for Rent
Hey y’all. Looking to fill one room in my three-bedroom apartment in the North Hollywood arts district.
About us: I’m a thirty-something woman working in retail. I love movies (especially horror) and entertainment, and my slightly maximalist decor makes that quite obvious. I have a pit mix that loves to cuddle and watch TV with her people. But she is definitely a solo pet kinda girl. I’m not really a partier and am quite a homebody. The second roommate is a fifty-something who works from home and is also quite a homebody and 420 (in her room) friendly. Both of us are more alternative in our tastes/interests.
About you: Clean and willing to help maintain a tidy space. Dependable and employed with a reliable source of income. LGBTQ+ friendly. Not a partier. You like dogs, but don’t have any pets of your own. Female preferred.
About the space: Three-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and central AC. Third floor with no units above us. You’d have a shared bathroom that is currently very pink, but you and the other roommate can paint it. The room is unfurnished and has a standard closet with sliding glass mirror doors. The kitchen has the basics and will have shared fridge/pantry space. The living room and dining room are fully furnished and decorated, but have room to add your personality. Elevator in the building with on-site laundry (pay by app). Five-minute walk to Magnolia and Lankershim. Tons of restaurants and bars in the area. Half-mile walk to the Red Line and near bus stops. Street parking only, with rotating street cleaning days on a weekly basis.
Rent is $1000 plus utilities (ranging between $100-$300 on average, depending on the time of year, WiFi included). Minimum one-year agreement, then you can switch to month-to-month with a preferred 60-day notice of moving out. The move-in date would be mid-June through July 1. New to Area advice on safety
Hello! I just moved to Noho/ West Toluca Lake from Glendale and the area makes me feel unsafe. Im in between Moorpark and Riverside with Vineland at my back.
I have the citizen app and it's just constantly going off... who knew machetes were so popular.
Id love any advice for how everyone gets along and for any good tips for a ring type camera for my apartment!

Reputable Leather Repair shops in NH.
I was gifted a Coach tote style purse that absolutely love. I think I may be from their outlet line because the straps aren’t the same quality as my other Coach bags (both vintage and contemporary).
I don’t care about that, but do suspect this because I think the straps are made from the plastic they call vegan leather. The straps look like they’ve melted on the parts that make contact with my body.
I’m open to repairing the straps or completely replacing them with real leather.
Any recommendations from people with first hand experience as a customer would be great!

Can anybody tell me when this restaurant closed? I love that place. It had a nice atmosphere and a friendly owner. Although I have to say on Google search, it says it's temporarily closed. But I can't determine if that's actually true or not.

Does anybody know the spot Risky Business on Burbank?
Been here so many times since they switched from The Other Door in 2021, been traveling the past few months - came back to town this week, and went there last night….WOOF. Used to love it here but alas…
A Saturday night, there’s maybe 7 people there. 10:30pm arrival…with multiple friends not just myself and my partner.
Bartender looks barely 21, serves me and my friends, has no problem with our friends - gives myself and my girlfriend (28yo - both of us) a rude attitude…I continue on with my beer. I go to pay for those beers and ask for my ID back - bartender took it so I could get pool balls - and he then says I can’t pay for my drinks and he’s kicking me out because I have a fake ID?
I provide a second form of ID, as does my partner, he then asks if she has her birth certificate (she’s black) and that was just the final straw…. Left with a bad taste in our mouth, but still not over it….
Feeling like going back tonight with every form of ID I own and telling them that was just delusional behavior from their staff last night and if they’re not going to have security, and clearly have an issue of underage drinkers….- then get a mothereffing scanner
What would you do?

To whoever has been setting off fireworks the last couple nights
Go fuck yourself. Some of us live with individuals with PTSD who can’t possibly prepare themselves for fireworks going off on random fucking days in May for no goddamn reason. What the actual FUCK is wrong with you? Set them off on the 4th or whatever but to have them go off at all hours of the fucking night is so fucking beyond me I can’t even imagine how selfish you have to be to think it’s okay.
Fuck you I hope you get skunked while you’re out there.
