Newish teacher here: In my first year of teaching 6th grade in a title one school admin was pushing for us to post objectives and learning criteria daily. I want to hear from fellow teachers: does this actually seem to help students?

First time garlic planter here and first time gardening in pots.

I didn't get the drainage right on my soil since I had only ever done in ground planting and had some fungal growth in my other plants-none in my garlic though. The first clove I planted now is mushy and smells bad but is still growing greens on top.
Is this normal?
