Job offer during Mid terms

Hey everyone, I need some advice.

I just got offered a job I really wanted. The paid training is full time for 2 weeks starting Oct 26, but I have midterms on Oct 27 and Oct 29 that fall right in the middle of it.

I don’t want to lose the job or tank my grades. Has anyone dealt with something similar? I have already tried rescheduling with the employer; not possible.

19y/o long term invester

Hey all, im 19 years old and have been investing for the last year slowly. My portfolio was up 40% at one point but has now been down for the past 2 or 3 months. I know both my individual stocks are pretty volatile, so I'm not panicking or anything. I also know and realize I should buy more of VFV or a new "safe" ETF to minimize the volatile stocks from hindering my portfolio. Other than that, any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Both sides

I’m invested in MAXQ right now and I keep seeing the same comments over and over like “it’s just a concrete slab” or “liberal money laundering” but nobody really explains the actual reasoning behind it.

I’m completely open to hearing the bearish side because I don’t want to sit in an echo chamber. I’d just rather hear real explanations instead of political bait or one line insults. What are the biggest legitimate concerns people have with the company? Financials, scalability, management, government dependence, valuation, competition, execution, anything really.

I’m still young so this investment honestly wouldn’t hurt me financially if it went wrong, which is part of why I’m willing to take some risk. But I still want to understand both sides properly instead of just blindly holding because of hype.

And on the other side, if you’re bullish, what’s the strongest argument for it besides hype?

Just trying to get a more balanced understanding because most discussions I find turn into trolling almost immediately.
