Thought my hair was straight my whole life, but then I tried salt spray... Here are two photos for comparison, after and before

It's strange how much my hair strands differ now: the top layer looks almost straight/frizzy (like 1B), but the bottom layers curl up into actual spiral waves (closer to 2B), and this is only after 2-3 times

My new routine is this: I use a regular shampoo, then apply a hair mask to make detangling easier. When most of the water is gone from my hair, I apply 6-7 sprays of salt spray and constantly scrunch it until it's 90% dry

What should I call this hair type and do I have the potential to have all my strands turn into 2B? :)
