Note to the City of Kirkland, you don't need everyone and their great great grandmother in the 4th of July parade

as someone that lives along the parade route, they could cut the parade down by 75%. It's just as long time wise as the rose bowl parade....

The new Slip burgers opened up yesterday

I only went to the Slip once under the prior owners and never returned. I walked past it last night after dinner and a couple of their burgers looks promising, the PB&J and Hog one.

The start of downtown Kirkland destruction started to shine about 6-8 weeks ago

and with the weather getting warmer, it's starting to become more obvious the city council/govt decision to open up a homeless shelter within a few miles away is a god awful one. The bums not only trash the area, but when I was walking through peter kirk park yesterday, 3 bums on two different benches were drinking alcohol in the open, they weren't even trying to hide it. 2 of 3 of the bums were harassing people as they walked by.

It's incredibly hard to screw up such a beautiful area like Kirkland, but.. clearly, not impossible.
