For anyone still feeling bitter about the Rodri switch like I was, I just came to say please let it go for your sake.

Firstly, no point dwelling on the past. The signing is now official and nothing will change there.

Secondly, if the player HIMSELF is saying “Barca was always the first choice”, then that should tell us that his own Madrid interest was never top priority. If a player truly wants to be at Madrid, they wait. They usually don’t change their minds as soon as the arch rivals show up… Mbappe waited a long, long time and even when he delayed and renewed at PSG, he was still working to make it happen. Thats genuine desire. Vini waited to renew even though he could have gone in the Arsenal direction. Would have meant more money for him and his agent in a year guaranteed. CR7 pushed for a move at the time, Modric same, Bale rejected Man U interest. Jude, Arda, Diomande etc

So no denying Rodri would have been a great signing but we want Players here that want to be here more than anywhere else. Not as option 2. I can understand that the club may have been dragging their feet, but sounds like he might have been doing the same thing.

If you prioritize someone in your circle that doesn’t prioritize you, don’t be surprised when the relationship is not balanced 🤷🏾‍♂️

Time to focus our people that are here because they want Madrid Y NADA MAS. And Hopefully the window isn’t over yet.

If Spain wins 🇪🇸: COPIUM TIME...This...will...suck...they did it without our players...but with all of Barca's so we have to suffer through that 😩 but I guess Cucurella counts technically???? 🤷🏾‍♂️Yamal Balon D'Or??? 🤦🏽‍♂️

If Argentina wins 🇦🇷: Just give me the Super League or something at this point. Messi fans will NEVER shut up (and its already unberable), Barca fans ALSO have ammo, and MAYBE we are happy for Nico Paz who is/isn't our player??? ANOTHER UNDESERVED MESSI BALON DOR??? 😭

After 5 games at the World Cup, Bellingham is ranked statistically as one of Englands best Attackers, Midfielders and Defenders...this is the most COMPLETE Midfielder in the world. Same guy that scored almost 30 goals from midfield in 2024. Same guy running all the way back and making last ditch tackles for both club and country (let's not talk about that Copa del rey walkathon for Pedri's Goal 😅) . His committment should not be questioned even if its true that he does still need to learn to control his emotions, but I for one love that he is passionate!!

CLASS is permanent, FORM is temporary. Dont let anyone lie to you that he is overrated. Yes we need other complementary pieces to optimize this team (I still believe maybe foolishly that we can build around Mbappe, Bellingham, Vini) but that does not mean that we need to replace him with a different "profile". You figure how to put generational players like this in a position to succeed. Oh and by the way, he is still only 23...
