3 VPPB Episodes in 4 months + upcoming rhinoplasty
Hello everyone! I'm actually seeking some support since this last months have not been easy on me. Im a 27 year old female and I had my first vertigo episode in January this year. It went away on its own a couple of days after and had my second episode 3 months later in April and had the epley done. One month after, in May I had my third episode which required 2 visits to the hospital and epley maneuvers to be cleared.
I'm super scared since my recurrence pattern seem to be quite close in time. I feel like there's nothing I can do. Mi Vit D levels are super good and I have an overall healthy lifestyle. I'm quite active and do strength training and pilates, which has obviously been afected by the VPPB. Is it even normal to recurr this much?!
I even have a secondary rhinoplasty surgery (a pretty complex procedure that will last 5 hours) in less than 3 weeks and i'm TERRIFIED a new VPPB will be triggered by it. My otoneurologyst has already warned me about this possibility but I cannot imagine dealing with VPPB during post op.
I'm not sure why I'm publishing this, I guess I'm just seeking emotional support.
