What’s the go with camera body exoskeletons?

What’s the go with camera body exoskeletons?

It seems like every reel, influencer post etc has people using cages for mundane things like landscapes, basic steeet photography etc.

Are newer cameras really that vulnerable? Or are people just less attentive to basic equipment care?
Or is it, as I suspect, just a rat with a gold tooth to make people think influencers are more skilled than the average photographer..

Battery monitoring app?

Any good diagnostic apps or tips for battery monitoring (and logging)?

I seem to have wildly different battery usage rates on days that do t really have much difference in usage, notifications, activity etc.
I can’t work out what makes battery levels drop so quickly on some days.

Inbox management - Archive vs folder sorting

I like to manage my inbox with emails in main inbox are unaddressed (with combination of flag and read status for finer management) and emails that have been or don’t need actioned sorted to subordinate folders.

historically I have done this manually (have come afoul by over-ruling and missing critical info..). anywhere between 150-300 emails a day, about 80% require consideration, 40% require my action. balance may be FYI or for a later reference.

is there any benefit to me dragging emails to separate folders rather than one click archiving (or left swipe on mobile) ?

search function has come such a long way since I first developed my workflows, so I am thinking archive might just be simpler.

my corp policy pushes anything >3 months to server storage so isn’t kept locally anyway and only supports copilot for ai/automation which I’m not currently eligible for a full blown licence.. obviously need to check retention policy of the archive folder is appropriate.

keen to get the minutes a day back, because even though it’s low impact, having a clean inbox (and clearing several thousand backlogs) is important to the flow of my day..
