What’s the best name here? I cannot decide!

Ok I’m changing my name because I hate it and it’s never pronounced right, I’ve been wanting to do this since 4th grade lmao.

Anyways I’m 17 and I have a long list of names I like but I can’t choose. Ideally I’d want a name that could work in multiple countries without really having to struggle.

These are the names

Maeve
Saskia
Lucia
Brigitte
Viktoria
Kira
Nora
Romy
Leah
Zoe
Anneliese
Liv
Aurora
Violet
Scarlett
Stella
Imogen

I’m half Austrian and half Norwegian so I originally wanted a name with one of those backgrounds but I don’t really mind anymore. I more so like names with atleast one sharp letter like V, K, and R.

My personal favorite so far is Violet but I’m not too sure how well it’d work in Norway and Austria so I may use it as my middle name instead.

Let me know what name is your guys favorite, be brutally honest!!

Middle name culture in Germany?

I’m moving to Germany soon, I’m a nurse so at my job I’ll likely be called by my last name which is good because it’s an easy German last name. However my first name is very unheard of in Germany, so I was wondering if I could just use my middle name at places? In Canada the middle name is basically a second name. I looked it up on google and it said in Germany the middle name is nonexistent. Not sure if that’s accurate.

I was wondering if it’d be normal to just go my middle and last name? Obviously excluding government papers and stuff.

The name Violet In German speaking countries?

I’m changing my name due to pronunciation reasons. I love the name Violet but my mom keeps talking about moving to Austria because my family is there. But idk how Violet will work there.

Does anyone think Violet will have issues in Germanic countries. My mom suggested the variants like Viola and Violeta but I’m not really a fan.

Victoria or Scarlett

Which is better? Victoria or Scarlett for a first name. Brutally honest opinions, also I don’t mind the Scar part in Scarlett.

Liv as a name?

I’m changing my name for pronunciation reasons and I like the name Liv, I asked my mom about her opinion on Liv. She said it sounds more like a nickname. What do you guys think, is it more name or nickname?

Names like Annika or Aurora?

I posted here a couple hours ago but I decided this would be a better question.

I LOVE the names Aurora and Annika but because of pronunciation I’m scared to use it (for myself I’m changing my name and I’m 18). I adored Annika but Annika is often mispronounced as uh-knee-kuh, and I hate how it sounds like that.

I love Aurora but most people have told me it’s a mouthful to say and some people will have issues with the double r.

The whole reason I’m changing my name is because it ALWAYS gets mispronounced and I hate correcting people, plus it’s often compared to a slur.

So what are names that have the same vibe as Annika or Aurora? I like how they’re both soft yet have some sharpness. I also like how they feel a bit airy.

Any ideas?
