Hi! I'm a 16 year old dancer. I'm going to be starting in a new dance studio in September and I have a dance class almost everyday (4 days out of 5 a week) at school as an art option that I've been dancing in for the past 2 years. They teach us a variety of styles, but recently I've been wanting to focus on my hip-hop techniques in hopes to maybe get into a troupe and do competitions since it's been a big dream of mine since I was a little girl. My dad has been kind of scolding me for the past few years about my converse because they lack ankle support and arch support in his opinion. So, to give my dad peace of mind, I'm looking for other brands of shoes that have a good arch and ankle support, but are also good for hiphop. I was wondering if anyone here had brands to recommend me. I'm kind of sensitive to change, so I'm struggling to choose a new brand of shoes to buy from.. I've been considering Nike and vans since they're the two other brands I've ever worn, but I'm also looking into Reebok and new balance. Can anyone help me out? :)

So, while scrolling into the comment section in a tiktiok video about an upcoming minecraft smp that is Greek mythology themed, I came across a comment that said something amongst the lines of "making a Minecraft smp based on a religion feels disrespectful." And that "we don't see people make media on other religions"

Being something who worships the Greek gods, and also enjoys modern Greek mythology media, I decided to answer how people do make modern media with other religions, and that we needed to remind ourselves that some people will always unfortunately only see Greek gods as fiction and there's not much we can do about that. I also added how Greek gods in worship ≠ their myths, and that the media is obviously set in the world of the myths. So therefore, in my head, it's okay to have modern medias such as Percy Jackson, or themed smps or TTRPGs based on the Greek gods in the myths!

For context, when I first started worshipping, (and there was this whole discourse about people not wanting to worship Zeus because of how predatory his persona could be in the myths) people who had been worshipping for way longer than us, told us that the Greek gods you worship aren't the same as their myths, and the myths are only there to teach lessons, morals, or show an image of the god the human mind can comprehend. So I was going off what I know here.

We ended up talking for a bit, eventually I brought up the point about how Zeus could be in his myths, and that hypothetically asked that if this person wasn't separating the worship from the myth, wouldn't that mean that they're basically worshipping a bad person? I am still learning, and just wanted to know what they thought about that logic. Eventually, they just told me that's how they worship and I agreed by saying everyone has a different way to worship and different relationships with their spirituality and their gods.

But that's when they answered, and told me "stop telling me how I should worship." Which is not what I did, I was respectful the whole time, and was just asking questions to why they're so against the media being created! I could even show my answers to their comments if anyone is skeptical about my respect. I ended up trying to clarify that it wasn't my intention, and no where did I ever try to tell them how to worship. They ended up blocking me. I have no idea what I said, or did, that was wrong here. Could somebody explain?
