Long story short, my boyfriend has always been protective of me talking to any man. I’ve already adjusted my ways to please his jealousy. My male neighbour walked by my place (I live in a community complex) so you know your neighbours well. I said hi back and he walked over to my front porch and we had a few smokes as did I. I’ve given him smokes and such in the past so he politely asked me if I wanted weed in return and simply being generous, as he’s giving people some because he purchased lots.
I told my boyfriend this asking if he wanted it because I’m not a heavy pot smoker. He started to dissociate and ask some questions. This was over video call. When he came over later he asked if he just stopped by and said hi or I invited him. Again on my porch in a public setting. He was mad and I felt at unease. He went on my phone and looked through my messages, you know, typical of him. Ugh

Without saying more I am just looking for advice, I hate this and it makes me feel bad about myself and like he’s making me into a cheater with his suspicions which is a bad feeling. I would never. I’m tired of defending myself…. Was that an appropriate situation? It lasted 20 minutes outfront.
