Just venting about my most recent appointment
Had my routine 6 monthly appointment with my rheumatologist this week. I’ve gained 7 kgs since I last saw her. (Prior to this, I’d had a 2 year period of weight loss due to coming off Lyrica).
This time, in response to every issue I raised (I had a list), the answer was “fat”. Pain in sacroiliac joint doing mild activities like gardening? “Fat.” Neuropathy much worse? “Fat.”
She wants me to lose 5-7 kgs in six months. Grim. Bleak.
