How do I deal with resentment towards my husband?

I 32F married my husband 33M almost 2 years ago. Since the day after our wedding, things just got extremely regular. Neither his family, nor he made me feel like a newlywed. No festivals were celebrated, no first year of marriage special things, nothing.

I understand my husband really doesn't care about these things, but I still feel bad. Whenever I see posts from other people, I feel really bad and resentful towards my husband.

What can I do to not feel so terribly?

Shall I confront my MIL about a intercaste marriage related comment or let it go?

I (32F) have been married to my husband for a year and a half now. We live overseas and have lived together before getting married and have a very good relationship.

My in-laws aren't the nicest or warmest people. I have established a practice that whenever they say anything to me or my husband that I don't like, I politely tell them that I did not like it, tell them why I don't like it and just be very upfront about anything that makes me feel bad. My husband supports me a 100%, even though he is a non confrontational person and doesn't agree with my approach. Because I always tell them how I feel, they are now a bit careful about what they say to me.

Sometimes they slip. For instance, today his mother called me and was talking about some upcoming weddings. She was telling me about some woman and said "it was so difficult for her to find a good guy for marriage, that at the end she had to do an intercaste marriage ". I was a bit dumbfounded by the statement and didn't think of a response. For context, ours is an intercaste marriage.

It is worth it to have talk with her about this, or shall I let it go?

Edit: typo

Am I getting this job or not?

I interviewed with a major CRO, I heard back from them, they are discussing availability and potential joining dates, salary, asking for documents. But during the whole process there has been no mention of an offer. I am a bit confused by it all. I have been out of work for a while, so I am desperate.

Working on Phase IV trials

Anyone here working on Phase IV trials? I am interviewing for a position that needs Phase IV experience, I do not have it at all, but I still made the first round and the second round is tomorrow.

Here are some of my questions

  1. How is the EDC different?

  2. Are the stakeholders on Phase IV different?

I am sorry if this comes off as an ignorant question, but I always thought it would be PV working on Phase IV, never thought a DM would be hired for it.
