Breaking down the veil of modernity and progressive mindset

I have seen that people in their twenties to mid-30s portray themselves to be of progressive mindset and not bound by limitations of gender norms, culture, caste, salary, family background, et cetera.

However, I have also found in a lot of cases that these are just what they portrait themselves as but their true nature is very different from this when it comes to their own personal matters.

This is done by both men and women.

So what are some examples of this type of hypocrisy that you have come across in persons of the other gender or your own gender?

Acceptability of guys with jobs that have All India Transfer

Context- I have a govt job with good pay etc.

I have been rejected a few times due to the fact that I will get transferred ever 4-5 yrs (to major cities, & no village or small town postings fortunately).

I understand the idea that shifting the entire household every few years is very inconvenient.

So my question is, What kind girls should I be looking for & jobs (of the potential match) are compatible with such transfer liability?

Any other additional observations from women are welcome.
