So I do a lot of trading because I play TF2 and CS. However, Steams automated detection keeps locking my account due to “Suspicious activity” being my account being logged in at a location a little over 100 miles from me. The thing is that my mobile authenticator always shows in that city. Each time I’ve had to “recover” my account now, it’s always been for the same reason from the same place. It’s happened 5 times now and it’s starting to get more frequent. I just unlocked my account 17 days ago. Today I got locked again.

Has anyone dealt with this before or have any idea how to prevent this? Is there a way I can reset the location on my authenticator so that it’s more accurate?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
