Soulframe Needs More Features Like This
Spectral Wildlife for the Nightfold
One thing I absolutely love about Soulframe is how peaceful, spiritual, and personal the world feels.
And I honestly think the Nightfold could become even more magical with living spectral creatures that turn the space into a true emotional sanctuary.
Spectral Fish
Instead of normal aquariums, players could release ethereal fish directly into the reflective waters of the Nightfold itself.
The fish could:
glow softly beneath our feet like spirits under a mirror
swim together in coordinated schools
occasionally leap from the magical water and dive back down
react to music and instruments played by the Envoy
gather near Ancestors, decorations, or players resting nearby
make every Nightfold feel alive and deeply personal
But the most special part could be social interaction:
Gift Fish & Whispered Messages
Players could gift rare spectral fish to one another.
Each fish could carry:
a blessing
a comforting message
a memory
a cute note
words of encouragement
And from time to time…
the fish could softly whisper or display the message while swimming through the Nightfold
Examples:
“Found this little one during the rain and thought of you.”
“May your waters stay calm, Envoy.”
“I hope this fish keeps you company.”
Instead of feeling like collectibles, they would become:
friendship keepsakes
spiritual memories
tiny living gifts
emotional companions from other players
