First year health sciences student - Advice needed
Hello everyone,
I will be starting university in the health sciences program this fall, and I have a few questions I wanted to ask the students already in the program (or anyone with information)
I saw that there are 6 mandatory courses in the first year, and you get 4 electives. My goal is to go to med school, so I would like to keep a good GPA all four years. Which electives should I take that are fun and informative?
I also wanted to ask how the professors were. From what I have heard, they are not very nice and are super strict. I also saw the recent incident that happened in one of the health law courses.
How is the Health Sciences with Biology program? As I mentioned, I want to go to med school, so do you think that if I do this program, I would benefit in terms of MCAT prep, or would it most likely just hurt my GPA?
I live about 2 hours away from London, so I will have to likley live on res or get a place neaby, anyone doing either if its possible can you share the pricing?
Thank you, and I will see you guys this fall!
