Hi all, I would like to hear about wax products that you may have discovered that is accessible in our local market that costs under 3k. My car is 30 years old and I dont have the feel to buy the expensive Meguiars like stuff which cost around 10k. My guess is the premium products maybe lasting longer when applied, but in my case I'm ok to wax the car once a month by myself so one month durability would be great.

Hi all, I am from Colombo and I plan to buy a 9000BTU Inverter AC this month. The only 9000BTUs I have come across so far are from Damro and Sinhagiri which will set me back close to 200k.

I did some further digging to see other options and I came across independent sellers doing 9000BTUs from these two brands CHIGO & Skyworth. They seem to cost between 120 -130k. They do installations and even mention of a warranty and free services for the first year.

I was wondering if it is worth taking the risk just in case they dont honor the warranty agreement and the mentioned services, will it be possible to find parts for these brands and get a third party to do the repairs and services.

These places also do brands such as Midea and Hisense that Sinhagriri does. They are around 150k, I was still wondering if it is worth the gamble to buy one of these and to get a third party to do the repairs and services as even with Damro and Sinhagiri I still have to sign a service agreement with them and pay an amount to them every year to keep the warranty.

Hi, I own a 30 year old car and I want to know what I can do to treat it's windscreen to stop or minimize glare caused by high beams when driving at night. I think the treatment for this is windscreen polishing. But I'm not sure.

My windscreen has some fairly large visible scratches in certain parts. It would be great if they can be eliminated too but my main need is to do something about glare because almost nobody lower their high beams when driving at night and it has become undrivable especially in the rain.

It would be a great help if someone can explain to me what I should do and where to get it done around Colombo and how much I am expected to pay.
