What’s a good piece of equipment I can buy online to test my basement for radon exposure? I am in the process of finishing the space and want to check if I need a mitigation system. No sump pit but there are 2 french drain holes in the slab. Looking for something off Amazon/ebay/major retailer I can use
Have a asphalt driveway that’s cracking/failing all over the place. Not in a place to have re-paved as it’s over 200’ long. Wanting to make the shift to millings and curious how I should go about it. The asphalt layer is only ~2” thick and I could tear it all out relatively easy. The base it sits on seems pretty solid as well. Should I just rip out the bad spots and run millings over how it sits now or tear out everything and put millings on the base? Going to have them rolled after we get it how we want it.
Looking to set up a drain line so my mini split doesn’t dump water next to my foundation in the summer. What have people done since it’s not excessive water output but decent enough to need it moved away from the foundation? Thinking of maybe running it into a dry well but maybe that’s overkill?

Purchased a new dehumidifier for my partially finished basement and it hasn’t had to kick on once yet. Is it normal for a basement in the northeast to not have any humidity? I swear our old one ran all the time then died out. We don’t have moisture issues or any water coming into the space but I assumed it would have something just from being a basement.
