People who applied for L visa in august - India

Anyone who applied for an L visa through Chinese visa centre-Delhi in August received any update yet?

Just trying to understand if they’ve started processing the August applications and whether anyone has received a response/decision so far.
Would really appreciate any updates. Thanks!

Documents required for china Visa (L tourist)

Hi, I need to apply for L chinese visa - Indian Passport holder
As a salaried person
Do I need company NOC, leave approval letter?
How should the bank statement be submitted? Would the online pdf work, or do I need to go to a branch and get a physical one?

Any documents that would be required but not mentioned on the page?

Chongqing or Chengdu? First trip to China and can’t decide.

Hi everyone!
I’ll be visiting China for the first time from September 12 to 21, flying in and out of Guangzhou.
My tentative itinerary is:
Sept 12: Guangzhou
Sept 13 to 15: Zhangjiajie
Sept 16: Furong Ancient Town
Sept 17 to 20: Either Chongqing or Chengdu
Sept 20: Back to Guangzhou
Sept 21: Fly home
I’m having a hard time deciding between Chongqing and Chengdu.
One reason I’m thinking about this a bit more is that September 17 is my 23rd birthday, so that’s where I’ll be spending it. That said, I’m completely happy celebrating in either city, so the birthday itself isn’t really the deciding factor.
What I’m really trying to figure out is which city would give me the more memorable and authentic experience for a first trip to China.
From what I’ve read, Chongqing looks like an incredibly unique city with amazing architecture, street life, and atmosphere. Chengdu, on the other hand, seems more relaxed, has an amazing food culture, and I’d really love to visit the panda conservation area.
The only practical downside is that Chongqing is easier to reach from Zhangjiajie, while Chengdu adds a couple more hours of travel.
Since I’ll already be visiting Zhangjiajie for nature and Guangzhou at the end of my trip (which I expect will mostly be shopping, food, and nightlife), I’m wondering which of Chongqing or Chengdu would complement the rest of my itinerary better.
If you’ve been to both, which would you recommend with about three days available? Which one left a bigger impression on you? Is Chengdu worth the extra travel time, or would you choose Chongqing instead?
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who’ve experienced both cities. Thanks!

Planning my first China trip(Guangzhou, Zhangjiajie, Furong Town & Chengdu) in 8 days - what should I know?

Hi everyone,
I’m planning an 8-day trip to China (excluding travel days) and would love to hear from anyone who has visited recently.
Current itinerary:
• Guangzhou
• Zhangjiajie
• Furong Town
• Chengdu
• Dujiangyan (for panda valley as it seems more calmer than the research base)

For Indian travellers:

  1. How was your overall experience?
  2. Any challenges with visas, immigration, payments, connectivity, food, or language?
  3. Anything you wish you had known before visiting?
  4. For all travellers:
  5. How much time would you recommend in each place?
  6. Any must-see attractions, day trips, or experiences I shouldn’t miss?
  7. How easy is it to get around using high-speed rail and local transport?
  8. Any tips for Alipay/WeChat Pay setup?
  9. What are the biggest tourist mistakes to avoid?

Would appreciate any recent experiences, itinerary feedback, or general China travel tips.
Thanks!

Question about China tourist visa bank statement requirement (3 months)

I recently noticed that the China tourist visa requirements mention providing a 3-month bank statement and maintaining a minimum balance of around ₹1 lakh.

https://www.visaforchina.cn/DEL3\_EN/tongzhigonggao/502142967226699776.html

I plan to apply for my tourist visa around August 2 and travel to China on September 10.
My situation is:
Until the morning of May 1, my account balance was below ₹1 lakh.
By the end of May 1 (closing balance), it was above ₹1 lakh.
Since then, and going forward until my visa application, I will maintain a balance above ₹1 lakh at all times.
My questions are:

* Can I submit a custom/rolling 3-month bank statement covering approximately May 2 to August 2, custom date statement?

*If the visa center specifically wants the most recent 3 calendar months (for example May, June, and July), would the fact that my balance was below ₹1 lakh during part of May 1 be an issue, even though the closing balance for that day was above ₹1 lakh?

Has anyone recently applied under the updated requirements and had a similar situation?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with recent experience, especially if you applied through the CVASC in India.
