I found my old notebook, back in 2019 when I still supported her💀 idk I kinda felt like posting this here to maybe laugh a little cause tbh I didn’t even know much about the allegations back then, alright in the trash they go now!

Edit: Forgot to mention that I did this sort of music presentation back in 7th grade and of course I chose a Melanie song🫩 pity party to be exact and we had to make a folder explaining a bit of the artist’s life and such and omg I will always be embarrassed about that😭 like I know I didn’t know about the allegations back then but still! And I also remember back in 6th grade I wrote a small biography about her for English class (can’t remember why, it was an assignment for some reason, I think we had to write a small biography for a famous person)

Anyway it’s a bit late so I might not cover everything in the video rn but let’s unpack a few things:
The dancing. First of all, her songs are barely danceable if at all, second, she’s pretty bad at it (at least in the beginning)
And also, 2000s emo? And one of her dancers saying “I hate my mom and dad”? I can’t be the only one who sees an issue with this… making fun of an alternative style? Whilst saying Melanie herself is alternative? Hmmm weird
Feel free to add more cringey/problematic things she was doing/saying in the video! I’m going to bed now, I feel like I deserve it after watching such atrocities

Question

I have been kind of answering someone back and forth on Twitter cause they were saying that “saying that Madeline Carina’s situation was rape is invalidating her story” and I was so confused because genuinely how are we invalidating it when it’s literally what happened? According to this person, it’s because Madeline never changed her story and she 100% believed it was consensual, but to me it doesn’t make sense cause coercion is not consent I fear we’ve talked about this 1000 times already😭 but idk I genuinely feel a bit confused about this statement that this person made so I kinda wanted more opinions on the matter, especially if I’m in the wrong cause I wouldn’t want to keep saying the same things over and over if I’m wrong yk

I didn’t know what other title to use ngl but I just saw in the main Melanie sub that someone posted the screenshots when Melanie had lost a bunch of things in a venue and was telling a kid to literally send his address so she could get back her things

I’m not like putting the original post because that’ll just attract more fans and probably harass us, who knows honestly they’re weird asf

But yeah so they were saying that Melanie was on the right??? Like I get it, someone stole your purse, your robe and an Ernie head (whatever that is) but girl you’re literally asking a minor for their address?? Are we not seeing the issue here? Am I crazy? Like pls let me know cause I can’t be the only one who thinks that’s weird as hell💀

So last night I saw a video on my TikTok about an artist who’s name is Sofia Isella and she sounded so cool and honestly captivated me, she’s a great lyricist and talks about deep problems like sex, religion and things like that. I literally just searched her up and saw she once (or maybe more than once) opened up for Melanie Martinez and she follows Melanie on Instagram (idk if she follows her somewhere else, haven’t checked) and I’m just angry I’m not even gonna lie, I’m fuming rn cause her music is pretty good imo and she talks about serious issues which now just feels ironic since she supports a rapist. Idk if someone has mentioned her before but thought that maybe if someone else (like me) didn’t know she was a rapist supporter, should and deserve to know. The quickest let down I’ve ever had smh
