<Scammer Beware>

This guy on insta (and assumed he deleted his profile on here) did a 1:1 trade with me for a jimpy Mashin-mini for a jimpy Zentinel. Instead of sending me it, he sends me just the label in a plastic bag.

I know there's a crowd who prefer steel balis as their beaters due to ratio of price to durability. But the Nabalis canyon was the only widely available steel competent flipper for awhile.

So when I found out AS had their own steel ones, I was intrigued to try them out, especially since (to my knowledge) not alot of ppl talk about them and they're much cheaper than the canyon.

>So the AS prism (top)

Channel handle design.

Honestly the better of the 2 here. It's well-balanced (slight handle bias) and has bigger handles compared to the canyon (by alot). It may feel heavy, but once it gets going, it doesn't feel cumbersome to flip, imo. It has nice handle ergonomics too with chamfered edges and no noticeably sharp edges despite how edgy it looks. It also has a very nice ring, especially after lubing the pivots.

My only con I can say about it is the blade doesn't have any bite-handle indicator. It's just one smooth edge on both sides. Otherwise, a high recommended if steel beaters are your thing.

>AS dangerous wanderer (bottom)

Sandwich handle design

First off, wow what a name. It's slightly wider and more rounded than the prism (least on one side) and has a more neutral handle bias. Like the prism, doesn't feel cumbersome to flip and can handle anything you throw at it (least for me). My main gripe is those edges on the sides. They're not chamfered at all and thin, so they're borderline false blade edges that start to hurt after awhile. And since they're thin, can't really smoothe it out anymore than where they're at. Don't recommend, unless you really like the look.

Anyways, that's my opinion on them. Feel free to lmk how you feel about them.

Watching Ethan's (bladebias) video of the opus v2 and he mentioned the key stand out the the opus had over the serif was the blade design having better tip weight. The main feature of the serif is arguably the handle design, unique sound, and overall aesthetics.

So would that mean, the seropus is the pinnacle design from machinewise?

Also, according to MW's website, the 2 actual have the same exact specs. So that really does leave the overall design of the 2 to be compared, least according to that.

I own a seropus and it definitely feels incredibly balanced, but I've never tried each on their own original design. So, I'm curious as to what y'all think according your experiences.

They weren't even set to breed. They just wandered over at the (at the time) empty pen and fell asleep on each other.
