US preclearance as an unemployed student
I'm doing a solo trip from Heathrow to LAX later this year with a ~2hr layover in Dublin. I'm 18 and this will be my first time travelling to the USA. I am a university student who has never been formally employed and am wondering if this will cause extra questioning at preclearance.
I'm paying for the trip using savings from my government issued trust fund/money gifted to me by grandparents and even after leaving a comfortable margin for unexpected costs I will have a substantial amount of money left afterwards.
Would being a young unemployed student cause issues at preclearance? I've seen on here that people often get asked about employment. Obviously I can explain how I'm affording the trip however I would like to know in advance if its going be relevant or if I'll need to show them my bank account or similar.
I'm also considering attempting to get a job when I start next year at uni, I haven't so far for personal reasons but it is an option if that helps.
