Why is Fresno state asking to create a ChatGPT account for us in the portal? Is this new?

It is labeled “Student terms and conditions for use of generative Al tools & Solutions” in the to do list section. Apparently, we’re suppose to agree to the terms but it is also asking to create an account for us?

Has anyone taken Machoian for business communication and do you know if attendance is mandatory? I really needed an online course for BA105w in the fall but that section was closed before I was able to register.
