EECU Refund

Anyone have EECU and got their refund? Or have any idea?

I have friends who have golden one and chime and they got their refund earlier but I’ve still yet to get mine. I know it differs from bank to bank I just want to confirm if anyone who had the bank got it or not.

Since if someone got it it may mean I did my direct deposit wrong.

Bank

Do you receive your refund faster depending on which bank you have? I have chase and my refund has been sent to my account but doesn’t show yet i know someone with a Wells Fargo account and they’ve already received their refund

Refund/Payment

hi! so I received a refund yesterday on my portal but it doesn’t reflect on my bank account (I use Chase). Neither does the payment that I made to Fresno state for housing.

just from prior experience, has anyone experienced similar delays or longer wait times for a refund deposit and payment withdraw with their banks? Any guestimate on when it will reflect on bank accounts?

Venting

Hey everyone. I posted here 3 times and I want to say thank you for all the advice and positive feedback. I'm taking everyones advice and doing all I can to get myself ready for Monday. So getting that out the way.

I'm exhausted. More like mentally exhausted. I didn't think I would have to jump so much hoops just to get here. I understand, it's a University. I'm getting a higher education and I should know what I'm getting myself into, but I'm 33. It's more difficult to get things I need as it seems. I had issues since May to get my immunization records because I moved from Kerman to Fresno in 2019 and my doctors lost my records. Even getting it on the Immunization records on the site is annoying. I have a deferment on Dog Days and don't need to pay until next month. But it was kind it frustrated to get one. And how my Financial Aid issue is making me second guess my decisions to go here during the Spring.

What I want to say is this school us draining my wallet and mental health. I have ADHD, anxiety and depression. I'm remaining calm and being positive. But man, it's tough. I really don't have much friends to talk to about my struggles and my family is understanding my situation. But it's hard to stay tough. Especially being a transfer student. I just want to be ok and enjoy this school. But right now, I can't. Thanks for reading my rant. Stay Hydrated!

Having a panic attack

So, today I went back to see if my Financial Aid was disbursement and it says I have to pay $704. I still need to pay for Dog Days (I had Financial issues back in May and wasn't able to pay for it.) So what does this mean? Am I not going to get a refund? Should I quit? Where do I even find if I'm getting a refund or not? I am taking 13 units and a transfer student? I really don't know what to do and rather or not I'm gonna get a refund!! 😭😭😭

Professor was switched on me without my knowledge

Hello everyone! I'm kind of freaking out right now. When I chose my classes last semester, there were three options for teachers on this specific classes I wanted to take. I'm really not trying to get into specifics here, but I chose one of the three professors because the other professor had a terrible reputation. He isn't even like an unkind teacher or anything, he's just somewhat known for making female students uncomfortable and has allegations against him. As such, I chose the other professor, who also had great reviews, but without the allegations. The third professor's reviews just weren't quite as good, so since I had a choice, I chose the better one.

Lo and behold, I checked today, and I'm now suddenly enrolled in his class. It seems they changed the professor on me without my knowledge, because I specifically did not choose him because of the allegations.

What do I even do in this situation? I'm honestly nervous to take this class with this guy, and I didn't even enroll in his class, so it feels like the choice was removed from me to even just choose the third professor that was also available for this class. Any tips?

Edit to add: It appears I'm waitlisted in this class too. So they unenrolled me in the one I chose, then enrolled me in this one, again, without my knowledge. I'm like panicking right now lol. This was supposed to be my final semester and I'm waitlisted in this class.

Immediate access material questions

I’m kinda confused about the immediate access material. I understand it’s just a list of your textbooks and then how much it’ll cost, and if you don’t opt out then you pay them.

Is this ALL your textbooks? Atm it says I just have 3 for 4 classes so one doesn’t have one. Which cool I don’t mind but I don’t want any surprise.

I haven’t gotten any other textbook list or anything or the sort other than just this one list, so I guessed this is it. Just the immediate access kinda makes me think other wise.

History Degree but Can’t be History Teacher?

Hay everyone I just wanted to see if anyone could help me or at the least make this whole thing more clear.

Context, im transferring from Fresno City so I’m brand new to this whole thing, so if there is something you feel is just a given, it isnt to me.

I was wondering how to get my teaching credential and I emailed the Kerman school of education where they told me that a history degree can’t be used for a teaching credential and it needs to be social science. I’ve been going to school for 2 years at city and started State and NO ONE told me this information.

So now I’m wondering if I need to change my degree or what? I’ve heard and seen people major in history and now are teaching so I’m confused if it’s something Fresno state themselves don’t offer or if it’s another route I need to take.

I am very much lost because clearly classes start soon and I am going full time for a history degree but now I’m wondering if that’s even the right route. Do I need to change degrees? Or take certain classes? I’m aware that you need to show subject competence but again don’t know where to start so I’m hoping someone can give me at least a direction to go.
