Defi stablecoin platforms

How are you guys earning yield on stablecoins without making it a full-time job?
I’ve been looking into ways to earn yield on stablecoins, mainly USDC/EURC, but the more I dig into it, the more fragmented it seems.
You’ve got Aave, Morpho, different vaults, curators, different chains, changing APYs, incentives, smart contract risk, etc.

So I’m curious how people here actually approach this in practice:

Which protocols/vaults do you use?

Do you mainly optimise for yield, or for simplicity/safety?
How often do you move funds when rates change?

Do you actively compare vaults, or just pick something trusted and leave it there?

What’s the most annoying part of using DeFi for stablecoin yield?

Would you accept a slightly lower yield if the whole experience was much simpler?

Also interested in whether anyone here uses EUR-denominated stablecoins such as EURC, rather than USDC, and whether you think the lower liquidity/yield is worth avoiding USD exposure.
Not looking for referral links, mainly interested in how people actually use this stuff day to day.

Stablecoin vaults savings?

What are the best alternatives to a regular savings account in Europe?
I’m curious what people here use for cash they want to keep reasonably liquid, but don’t want sitting in a regular savings account.
Very roughly, these seem to be the main options at the moment:
regular / high-yield savings account: ~1.5–3%
term deposit: ~2–3.5%
money market fund: ~2–3%
short-term government bonds: ~2–4%
broad equity ETF: historically perhaps ~6–8% annually over the long term, but obviously with significant price risk
stablecoin / DeFi vaults using EURC, USDC, etc.: roughly ~4–8%, sometimes higher
platforms like Trade Republic / Revolut: often around ~2–3%
Obviously these are just indicative annual rates and can change quickly.
Stablecoin vaults are the one I’m most curious about. The yield difference can be meaningful while funds can remain relatively liquid, but you’re giving up deposit insurance and taking on additional risks such as smart-contract and stablecoin risk.
What do you personally use?
And perhaps more interestingly: how much additional yield would you need before accepting more risk than a normal savings account?
Would 4–5% total yield be enough to make you consider it, or would you need something closer to 7–8%+?
Also curious if there are good alternatives I’ve missed.

Idea validation time!

What app are you building or do you want to build? First please validate your idea!

My idea is for the European market: an app that makes it easier to buy stablecoins with fiat money and get the high yields by automatically putting them (and switching between) vaults. Yield would be around 5/6% with low risk due to the use of high colletoral in the vaults

Looking forward to your ideas and also to the opinions about the idea above!

Test for test!

Hi everyone,

I’m building a free Android app called Rightpass and I’m looking for testers for the closed Google Play test.

The idea is simple: instead of opening a different app for every store loyalty card, you can add your discount/loyalty cards in one place. When you are at a store, the right card pops up automatically so you can quickly show or scan it.

Please help me to test, I will test yours back!

Any feedback is really appreciated. Thanks!
