First of all, this is my first time posting here. So if the balancing of these Buffies is horrendous, my fault ! 😬

And I also tried to provide explanations as to why I designed each Buffie the way I did (minus Asteroid Belt)

The "No reworks" part is a hot take I think, but from my perspective, primo is a simple brawler that you unlock early on. So is it wrong to want to keep him simple? (seriously asking)

I won't lie, I'm still unhappy with the Suplex Supplement Buffie, but it was the best idea I could come up with after multiple ideas.

My process was that Suplex Supplement (SS) enhances primo's combo-ability, so the Buffie should enhance it even more. That's why I chose that version.

(Previous/scrapped SS Buffie ideas for those who care:

1 – Primo instantly suplexes enemies with no animation delay

2 – Thrown enemies get stunned for 2 seconds and bounce back if they're suplexed into a wall (this one was confusing mechanic-wise so I just scrapped it)

3 – When enemies and enemy pets are both in-range, pressing the Gadget prioritizes the nearest enemy player and suplexes them, as well as all enemy pets (in-range of course)

I've always been playing the game as... a game? and never focused on the competitive side of it. But I'm giving it a shot this time.

I'm not the best at the competitive side of Brawl, and these Buffie concepts are made with only 6 years worth of primo experience, so there are probably people out there with better primo knowledge.

And for fun: the reason I decided to design his Buffies as meteors was because the beta version of Brawl clarified that El Primo gained his "unrivaled charisma" and superhuman strength from a meteor that fell on him. After all, a team member did reveal in the latest Time-to-Explain episode that when designing Buffies, they make them feel like "mini-characters" that are connected with their Brawler's story/lore.

Finally, I'm hoping we can keep things respectful ! This'll probably flop but whatever🤷‍♂️
