Rereading onyx storm and he’s complaining about how he can feel when there’s supposed to be emotions felt, but he wants to just “skate” over them bc its less messy and labor intensive to cope with. He’s so emotionally and mentally exhausted from anxiety that hes just letting the venin induced apathy take him. Someone give this man a bowl and a sunset in aretia, or meds. He’s literally rawdogging an entire war with no coping mechanisms whatsoever. Enough inner peace a day could keep the venin away.
