This little tree came home from a nursery in April. It’s a little not shown any signs of growth since then. I did repot it about a month ago so that I could see the roots and make sure it had a good growing medium. Suggestions? I’m about to try some fertilizer. Zone 8a.

First pic shows area of repair. The second is the finished result. I didn’t want to purchase anything new including just a sponge so I ended up using a combination of an older fluffy roller and a brush and I think this is plenty good enough.
