Applying via Naturalisation under section 15 of the Nationality Act (StAG)
Hallo zusammen,
My grandfather was Jewish and from Františkovy Lázně (now Czechia). His father was born in the Sudetenland, his mother was from Kladno. He had to leave at the beginning of WW2 and spent the rest of his life in the UK.
I am looking into applying for German citizenship. We have many documents but some are missing, notably his birth certificate.
Am I best off booking an appointment at the London embassy and taking everything I have? Any documents in Czech I can get translated.
Is there any advice people in a similar situation can give? Any help much appreciated.
